The Office of Surrealist Investigations began out of the surrealist drawing game of exquisite corpse and explorations between the surrealists and the Black Dahlia murder. Drawing queues from Art Spiegelman's narrative corpse, the drawing games have opened up this process further and into other media through collaborations with artists and non-artists resulting in zines and gallery exhibitions. Thanks for noticing. We try to change it up, it all depends on what contributors bring to the table. These corpses usually post in sequence after an evening of drawing, so things appear to change in larger series. There will be more mediums and more changes to come I’m sure.
